📱 How to Connect Your Phone to TV (Wireless & Cable Guide)
🔵 Android Phone to TV
Option 1: Wireless Casting / Screen Mirroring
Requirements
- Smart TV with casting support OR Chromecast / Android TV / Fire TV
- Phone and TV connected to the same Wi-Fi network
Steps
- Turn on your TV
- Connect both your Android phone and TV to the same Wi-Fi
- Open the app you want to watch (Innergy)
- Tap the Cast icon (📺)
- Select your TV name from the list
- Content will start playing on your TV
For Full Screen Mirroring
- Swipe down from the top of your phone
- Open Quick Settings
- Tap:
- Smart View (Samsung)
- Cast
- Screen Cast
- Wireless Display
- Select your TV
- Your phone screen will appear on the TV
Option 2: Connect Android Phone to TV Using Cable
Required Components
- USB-C to HDMI adapter/cable
OR - Micro-USB to HDMI adapter (older Android phones)
- HDMI cable
- TV with HDMI port
Steps
- Connect HDMI cable to TV HDMI port
- Connect HDMI cable to adapter
- Connect adapter to your phone
- Change TV input/source to the correct HDMI port
- Your phone screen should appear automatically
- Some Android phones do not support HDMI output
- Keeping the phone charging during use is recommended
🍎 iPhone / iPad to TV
Option 1: AirPlay (Wireless)
Requirements
- Apple TV or AirPlay-compatible Smart TV
- Same Wi-Fi network on both devices
Steps
- Connect iPhone/iPad and TV to the same Wi-Fi
- Open the Innergy app to watch
- Tap the AirPlay icon (📺)
- Select your TV
- Video will start playing on TV
For Full Screen Mirroring
- Open Control Center
- Tap Screen Mirroring
- Select your TV
- Enter AirPlay code if prompted
Option 2: Connect iPhone/iPad Using Cable
Required Components
For Lightning iPhones/iPads
- Lightning to HDMI adapter
For USB-C iPhones/iPads
- USB-C to HDMI adapter
Also required:
- HDMI cable
- TV with HDMI input
Steps
- Connect HDMI cable to TV
- Connect HDMI cable to adapter
- Connect adapter to iPhone/iPad
- Switch TV source/input to correct HDMI port
- Device screen should display on TV
Notes
- Original Apple-certified adapters work best
- Charging while connected is recommended
